grades 8th through 10th – to become our future leaders in their schools and communities.

Check out Sunday at 2:00 PM
This requires two overnight stays at the hotel
provided by SkillsUSA CA. Accommodations
are only provided for the student. The event is supervised by SkillsUSA CA Staff and does not require a parent or chaperone to attend.
Candidates must:

Be a SkillsUSA California member on or before the start of the incoming school year.

Be going into the 8th-10th grade for the incoming school year.

Complete an online application.

Provide a personal statement of intent, "Why do you want to attend the Leadership Academy?"

Provide an advisor/teacher recommendation letter.

Those who have previously graduated from the academy are not eligible to apply.
Upon Acceptance:
Provide parental consent form.
Provide waiver and release of liability form.

Applications will be available here after the annual state conference in April.
The deadline to complete the application is June 13, 2025.
