Alumni & Friends
SkillsUSA California Alumni and Friends was formalized
during the 2010-2011 year. At the April 2011 Board meeting,
Veronica Chavez was approved by the SkillsUSA California Board
of Directors to serve as the Alumni and Friends Coordinator.
Our state Alumni and Friends organization was one of five
states awarded a start up grant from the national office
to support our efforts to expand and improve the
organization in California.
As of December 2011, the California Alumni and Friends
organization has recruited and enrolled 630 members! We hope that
you will consider joining the California Alumni and Friends
organization and "continue the journey" in
supporting SkillsUSA California.
